Description

This equipment came from a cinema in a small mining town called Ely, Nevada.  Ely is a cool little town in the eastern part of Nevada, and it really hasn't changed much since the 1940's.  That's when this equipment was originally installed.  Specifically, March 29th, 2941 (whoever installed it wrote the date on a filler panel).  At some point it got moved into storage, and that's where we found it a few years back.
I sold the amplifiers when we first acquired the equipment, but I kept this stuff thinking I'd use it
one day
.  I wanted to put newer audio equipment in the rack along with some LED strip lighting.  How cool would that look?!  But, it hasn't happened yet and I realize now that I may never get around to doing it, so I'm putting the set up for sale.
I'm firm on the price for now.  If it doesn't sell, I'm OK hanging on to it for a few more years.  The odds of finding another are pretty slim.
It's in good condition, but certainly not perfect.  The rack is essentially just a standard 19" rack with a fancy cover over it.  The cover little bent up on the top and has a small dent on the bottom.  The speaker cabinet also has some scratches on the top.
The speaker itself has a part number of 140284-1.
I actually saw one of these sell for 0 by itself a few years ago, so apparently it has some value to the vintage audio folks.
The parts cabinet is in the best condition with very minimal wear.
The equipment is set for a local pick-up only.
The rack/cover is simply too delicate and I don't want to risk damage.
However, you are welcome to arrange your own shipping with uShip or any other carrier.  I will not prepare or package the rack for shipping in any way, and will not be responsible for any damage that occurs if you decide to have it shipped.  That's all between you and the carrier.
