    Interesting letter postcard on light weight paper stock sent from Bordeaux, France by
    Private Clayton E. Cornwell, Company D, 302 Infantry via N. Y., American Expeditionary Force
    to his friend Charles, Aug. 30, 1918.
    He mentions in the letter that: “
    have seen some of the country since I went into the service and expect to see a lot more before I return. … and shall be might glad when we all return and our duty is done
    ”.
    Stamped the A.E.F. Censors bull’s-eye, and the Army postmark from Bordeaux, France Sept., 2, 1918.
    It measures 5 x 3 ½ inches, creased as found and age tanning otherwise in very good condition.
    A wonderful piece of A. E. F. ephemera, it will be a welcome addition to your collection.
