Fossil Description; This is a belemnite. Species; Pachytreuthis densus from the Jurassic Period. Location; somewhere in Montana. Amber colored, and the specimen has a longitude fracture line down most of its length. ALSO there is an indentation on the pointed front part of the specimen. This appears to be a shell remains with the soft parts missing. Picture 9 is looking down into the shell.
