Product background
- Original Z32 lens bezel ring (in both flat or five-cren variants) has been sold in Lighthound (now defunct) and subsequently Oveready for many years
- Sales of said rings were discontinued by Oveready in 2017 citing poor Z32 bezel popularity/reception
- Final OR Z32 bezel ring sales concluded in mid-late 2017
- As of late 2018 Lumens Factory started offering similar bezel rings in various configurations, but NO hign-sheen finishes are being offered or planned
Item description and highlights
- Original retail item (NOS) in mint condition, only briefly tested for fitment
- Polished black finish (dark grey high sheen)
- Compatible with lenses in stock thickness (~3.25mm)
- Thin Delrin spacer ring included (for use with thinner UCL lens install)
- Hex-notched design allows for installation with specific bezel opening tools (NOT included; see below)
- NOT compatible with first-gen Z32 bezel (with press-fit Lexan lens installed)
Polished black finish matches Z32 hosts in the following anodize finishes:
a. Standard Type 2 (HAII) gloss black
b. Selective Type 3 (HAIII) Hard Black or Hard Clear (OD) in medium-high luster
NOTE:
- Proper bezel opening tools required for installation (eg. Oveready Z32 lens tool, Lumens Factory combo Z44/32 lens tool)
