These are previously owned set of collectible coins which may have light wear from prior handling.  These coins are collectibles not actual currency on the reverse side of every coin is the an embossed picture of the big dipper with lettering beneath, the lettering 'ALASKA FRONTIER MINT' above and below the date 1898.  On the front of each coin are the following:
