Pathe Freres Phonograph, model POR, serial # 46918, used, working/plays, portable (?) 78 rpm. Condition is "Used". Shipped with UPS Ground.
This is a Pathe phonograph. Internal horn. Probably manufactured between 1922 and 1929 based on the fact Pathe went bankrupt in 1922; was restructured; the phonograph has a Dec 21, 1921 patent plate inside the sound well; and there is a 'New Pathe' emblem inside the top cover. There are no other markings readily viewable.
The phonograph weighs 20 lbs and measures 14-1/2 inches wide x 16 inches deep x 10 inches high.
The crank handle is removable by turning counter-clockwise. The reproducer/tone arm is also removable. Both may be stored in the sound well for easier transport. (see pictures)
The phonograph also has a phonograph disk storage location inside the top of the lid that is 2-1/4 inches deep (16 records 78 rpm)
Case is solid. Latch and hinges function. Corners are secured by triangle brackets. (see pictures)
