Vintage 4 1/4" Sterling 1818 Illinois Souvenir Spoon - C3250

Description

This is an 1818 Illinois sterling souvenir spoon.  It has a star with the number 21 in it, and the date 1818 under circle.  The circle has an eagle plus some other things in it. Illinois was the 21st state and it became a state in 1818 so this spoon may be part of set of state spoons.  There is a maker's mark on the left to the word sterling, but I cannot make it out.  The spoon measures about 4 1/4".
