Vtg Modernist ROBERTA WILLIAMSON Sterling Silver DOG Howl at the Moon Necklace

I've had this whimsical necklace in my personal collection for some time. I just love it and I know someone else will as well. Roberta Williamson made jewelry starting in the late 80s and later with her husband. This is one of her earlier creations signed and dated 1989. It has a real "Memphis" vibe with the plastic beads of every variety color and shape. The cut out the dog howling at the moon is just adorable with the a lot of character. She is several of these types of necklaces with different themes and they are highly collectable. I originally thought this was a wolf howling at the moon, but I saw another early brooch with this same dog in front of a dog house titled "Petie". This one measures 20" from end to end. The beads are roughly 5mm on average and the dog measures just under 2" by .75". I promise you won't regret owning this fun necklace.
