An original World War One related letter written by a Navy Serviceman named Stanley Barker.  It is dated 1919 Brest France.    In one area he says,......was a Holiday for all men in France.............in honor of the heroes who gave their lives for the great cause..............The occsion was very sad.........made me stop and think just how much one human life is valued........but what a sacrifice it must seem for the parents that gave their sons in this great war.....         I currently have other items listed that belonged to this individual.
The letter has some wear and stain marks in areas.
